Step 9 – Discontinue Google Workspace (Final Step)
Discontinue Google Workspace but keep your domain.
If Google manages your domain, you can keep it there even after discontinuing your Google Workspace subscription. You can also choose to move it to another DNS host if you want.
After you’ve successfully moved all of your data to Microsoft 365 Business Standard, it’s safe to cancel your G Suite account.
Because you have the same domain name you did at G Suite, make sure you continue to pay for your domain registration to keep the domain registration active.
Steps to Cancel G Suit Account Subscription

Sign in to Google Admin

Go to Billing on the Google Admin page.
- Go to the Subscriptions list.
- In your G Suite account, choose Cancel subscription from the Actions menu.
- Finally, click Continue.
Note that your subscription will be canceled immediately, and you cannot undo this action.
